Many returning runners tell us they wouldn't miss this event. 
The beautiful Pheasant Branch Trail makes the perfect fall running day even more perfect. Our awards ceremony is topped off with a delicious Ruth's Chris Steak House burger and a creamy Culver's ice cream sundae and a Capital Brewery beer to wash it all down for the adults.
The change was made to a Sunday to accommodate folks attending the UW Badger football game on Saturday and a little later start to accommodate our church going families. Gilda's Run 2012 is entering it's 5th year and we anticipate topping the 1000 participant mark. Last year's total of 776 runners and walkers was a 76% increase over the previous year and we're excited about the growth of this fun and yummy family-friendly event.
It's not too early to begin training or to start fundraising to support the programs of Gilda's Club. Because no one should have to go through cancer alone.
