In late April, Erin Brown, known in the trail community as TeaTree, will begin hiking from the Mexican border town of Campo, California and hopes to get all the way to Manning Park, British Columbia sometime in September or early October.

The Pacific Crest Trail, as it is known, is over 2,600 miles from end to end. Erin is hiking in memory of her father, Christopher Brown, who passed away last October and for Gilda’s Club Madison Wisconsin. She is seeking donations for each mile walked.

You can follow along with her journey from the planning stages, and then from Mexico to Canada at www.trailjournals.com/teatree07.

Contributions can be made directly to Gilda’s Club Madison Wisconsin. Click here for a pledge form.

If you want to wish Erin well and contribute in person, please attend Erin’s Send Off Party at the Great Dane Brew Pub at Hilldale from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 18. Friends and supporters of Gilda's Club Madison Wisconsin are all welcome. Please RSVP to info@gildasclubmadison.org.
