Support Programs That Come to You

Gilda’s Club Madison is committed to continuing to serve our community during this time of social distancing due to COVID-19. We know that our community already faces isolation as they live with the impact of cancer, making it even more vital for Gilda’s Club to find ways to create opportunities to gather, connect, and learn…even from the comfort of your own home. In order to continue fulfilling our mission, we are temporarily shifting programs to virtual platforms. Thank you for your patience as we work to intentionally bring these opportunities to you. Below is information about our basic programs—For the full listing of our activities, please visit our program calendar.

Support

Our professionally-facilitated support groups are now being offered via Zoom, a HIPPA-compliant online tool, that allows group members to meet via online video conference and/or phone.

New Member Meetings

We continue to welcome new members! Click here to learn more about our FREE membership.

People who are living with cancer, their family members and friends, caregivers and bereaved, can talk one-to-one with a licensed mental health professional who will listen to their cancer experience, hear their needs and connect them to appropriate support groups (video and/or phone), community resources, online educational workshops and more.

Schedule a meeting by emailing program@gildasclubmadison.org or calling (608) 828-8880.

Weekly Support Groups

If you are currently registered for a weekly group, you should have received an email with directions for joining your group via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant platform that allows group members to meet by video and/or phone. All groups will meet during their regularly scheduled days & times.

*If you did not receive an email, please reach out to program@gildasclubmadison.org and share your day, time and group name to get details.
